Porcelain Crowns and Bridges
Crowns are used to restore a tooth when you do not have enough tooth structure to support a filling. They provide strength and structural support and are an excellent long-term solution for cracked and broken-down teeth. While there are several different types of crowns, we place all porcelain crowns when they are needed as they match the natural color of your teeth far better than other types of crowns. All porcelain crowns also eliminate “the line” and discoloration caused by metal crowns and keep the teeth and gums healthier than their metallic counterparts because of where and how they are placed.
Before & After
Bridges are one option to replace missing teeth. A bridge is essentially (three or more) crowns that are connected together and cemented to teeth to close spaces. They restore chewing ability and prevent shifting of teeth and bite collapse. With the development of stronger porcelain materials, we can create beautiful bridges that blend with the natural color of teeth and are virtually undetectable.
