Treatment may include curettage or scaling and root planning. This is a procedure in which a deep cleaning is administered gently and comfortably. By removing tartar and plaque from root surfaces, the tone and condition of the gum tissue is improved. Along with good home care techniques and regular hygiene visits, this is the cornerstone of periodontal therapy and can dramatically improve oral and overall health.

Sometimes antibacterial therapy is needed to treat this disease. Antibacterial therapy includes the utilization of antibacterial solutions at home and, if required, the placement of antibiotics to the affected areas below the gum line. These techniques address early to moderate gum and periodontal problems and have been shown to have dramatic results. Our goal is to improve your oral health; we are committed to getting you healthy and keeping you that way.Periodontal-Therapy3
